Most Awaited terms in Corporate Czar.I don't know y ...but true, boss is the 1 who holds u up at times and screws u up as well.. It was mid year by now and me getting mails to complete the Goals for my future...completely pissed of with what i had to do. never understood the purpose of Appraisal and its importance as well. and hence filled up whatever i did in project and left for the day..days passed like minutes and i forgot that there will be any meeting called as appraisal meeting... i was in the office that day in the afternoon...i had pretty awesome lunch by now. looking at my 17" Screen in the screen made me sick, and suddenly one pop up came in tat was form my Boss and subject read like this
Subject: " Appraisal meeting -- Discussion to be held in Meeting Room".
It opened my eyes to 270 degrees and then thought for a while " why this now?"..yawned and yelled at my colleague " look what mail i received"!!! Suddenly there was a hush--hush at my back, Bang....there he was standing behind me and gave me a weird look.. " Didn't you receive my mail? "..he said... ohh u have sent a mail? no i didn't see it.i was smart enough to mark that mail as unread.
" don't you want to discuss abt your performance?"... he said
" Damn why the hell i will discuss my own performance with you?" i thought for a while...
" Yeah, sure no issues", i said!
We headed to meeting room..and see what the name was " Shanti"...soch liya tha ke andar shanti ki puri band bajne wali he" lols..
we sat facing each other...silence for 10 mins... eyebrows were giving isharas..as if me and my girlfriend are in cozy mood..to break the awkwardness and to silence i gestured him saying " You called me, did any defect came for retest? any blocker issue? He said nothing and smiled. by that time i came to knw that something wrong is going to happen so just concentrated on him like a beggar waiting for him to shower some comments on me. There conversation started.
" Are you happy now?"
" Yes "
"lets recall your past performance"
i nodded.
" Your verbal communication is very good"! i smiled and thanked him.
" but you need to be proactive with your colleagues"
" what?" i said in my mind..
" you have got the potential to handle situation, but you need to take care while providing updates"
i muttered and said yes..
" You did very well, came at odd hours in office and supported, but you took 3 holidays while there was at-most necessity of yours in the office".
"you lead the project to go live but you missed the timelines.." what the heck? for the same reason i got an appreciation mail from senior management...
You kept the issue with you and did not cascade it to management?( if the issue was solved by me, why will cascade it to him.( he wanted to take credit)...Ego matters.....you need to think about these mistake and set goals so that you will never commit such mistakes again!!! as of now i am giving you avg rating. will think abt it at the end of yr.
Moral: If management decides to screw you up, it will screw you up????

I will tell you what I see,
I see you spending days and nights at work,
Staying away from your loved ones,
Ignoring them as they wait
Wait for you to come home,
A wait that ends with nights of loneliness
Spent away as you work.
Wen should i say i'm pissed of!!!!!!!
You live a life exploiting yourself,
Leave alone exploiting others,
Forgetting the very reason why you live.
Is it to earn millions?
Is it to complete a deadline on time?
To work, and work and just work?
Is this the life you asked the almighty for,
A life with no time for others
A life where you leave everyone behind,
No time to celebrate a family tradition,
No time to mourn the loss of a loved one
With a fake smile on your face,
Too occupied in deadlines and releases,
You have become a slave of your own greed,
A greed which forces you to treat people the way you treat yourself,
Without love, Without Sympathy,
Without affection.

lonely.....
it is so often said that empty mind is devils workshop.....but wat's wrong in it?......i mean this is true.....well you will ask me why i am sayin this here. just because i am alone..here in this new city of dreams. and don't have any one to share some stories... first time it happened in my life that girls stopped talking to me(latter they started that's a different story). ..just because i am a fresher.....i have entered in the world of IT...where everyone have forgotten their personal lives....working till late nites...keeps you in a race...otherwise you are gone.....i am working in one of the MNC....but don't know till wat time i will be here.....12 hrs of job and 8 hrs of sleep...that's it...i feel like doing something new...but am not free as well.......have some dreams...but need some space......this is how i am.......

us recession myths
Dont be panic with the news of Recession in US, recession is not a volcano that will erupt in a single day and will kill all of your jobs in US. I just want to clarify a few myths about recession..
Media just give more weight to recession just because of elections and wanted to back Democrats.
Why recession started??
First of all, in the eve of elections and due to slow down of militant activities the fiscal expansion and government consumption on war reduced as a result Aggregate demand decreased and sectors which depend highly on Government Buying not able to bag much more income.
End of IT Buble??
A few months back Yahoo published a news saying 63k people fired, but the fact is 63k people left jobs in last 5 years and are out of Job Market, what does this mean? Yes people who retired, people who left US, people who came back to education after a gap year are included in this 63k, Yahoo just giving this publicity to attract more clients to its Portals for Job Search and Online Education.
What really happening.
US market is not volatile, we can’t expect the same liquidity constraint that raised during 9/11due to current sub prime situation, the stock market will be volatile since Securities saw a large losses and the whole banking sector is now under threat. So, people who are trying to invest in new ventures are prone to this threat. So, if you are planning for huge Investment in India or in US or in any Open Market Countries, yes your work will be much more difficult now.
Change in Govt. can do??
No, more over, change in government will decrease government spending and if you are from Government dependent industries expect worse situation, else there will be no change in the job market.
But why Job Market is slowing down??
Indeed job market never go down completely unless situations like war or such disasters.
When Economy is booming, a few sectors will show immense growth, like Communications and IT sectors in past few years, at the first stage there is more demand for employees and less supply, this will continue for a few years and after that the companies will focus on Economic profits rather than Accounting profits and US Fed Laws won’t allow you to price more than marginal cost, so with Globalization the economy moves to other countries too and the industry will grow and Job market too, so, there is more demand for employees and more and more employees come out to join in other companies, so the natural rate of employment will be more and huge increases in salaries.
We can’t expect the growth of industry will be 9% for ever, so after 5-8 years the growth will stabilize to 2-3% or less and job fluctuations too, this doesn’t mean the job market was down completely, a few years back there are 1000 vacancies and 900 candidates, but now 100 jobs 50-150 candidates.
So, there is simultaneous decrease in jobs and job aspirants too.
I am talking about US economy only, not Indian.
If you are investor, yes the recession will hit you, if you are employee you see no difference.
Apply with right resume you will be out of unemployment pool in a week, I bet. US needs lakhs of system and network admins right now.
For every economy after a few business cycles you will experience recession and expansion, thats what happening in the world from past 200 years.
First of all, when the economy is working at full potential means no layoffs or no firing, still some rate of unemployment will be there, since people try to shift jobs, move to new locations, move to new companies so on, this is called natural rate of employment.
If demand is more, then companies give higher and higher salaries to those and recruit them, especially in construction sector, a few years back major construction boom hit Minnesota, Electricians charged 11 times more that their natural pay. After some time correction will take place, once all the houses are constructed and they wages will decline, and the media will give alot attention to that.

todays relation between india and pakistan.......
hello friends and all hon'bl personalities who are reading this blog,
you may agree wit the subject or may not,
but i expect you to give some suggestions to our indian political culture.....
this is wat i always wanted to start with. after 26/11 mumbai and whole india is batterd and bruised jst coz of terrorisom. and as whole world has seen on televisions (thanks to media who gave complete info to bhartiya manus and supported terrorists in makin dere opretn simple jst to increase so called 'TRP').
starting with the subject of relations btwn india & pak wil no longer be as stable as it was before 26/11. after this there is pressure from international and also national politics that india should attack on pakistan.... but is it necessary? ya if u thik abt scrutinising root of terrerisom frm pak wil do. but imposin an attck will create some unwanted things which we dnt want...........
wat if both the countries starts usin nuclear power? will it affect ao india as well as pak...?
1st impact will be on india as india is rising in economy (not shining ),all 4 metro cities will be affected, and dat is wat terrorists wants and that is wat all the enimies of india want.(indirectly i'm pointing towards enimies only,terrorism is jst a channel which is used to demoralise india.)
all i want is dnt play wit an indian , you'll hav to regret it..
